Ok, Diane did all the knitting, and the felting, but I dyed that bright, colorful yarn with Kool-Aid! I had to post this because I think it is positively adorable. I might have to make a Booga Bag myself!
Adorable, or what?

Welcome to my new blog!
I'm trying out a new blog...hoping to make this my permanent home for my thoughts, and keeping track of my projects, as well as being able to show them off! I'm posting Charlotte again here, so I can try out the features of this site.

Charlotte, almost done
While I started out not much liking Charlotte with her complexities and my lack of lace-knitting experience, I grew to love her as time went by.
First of all, let me say that I LOVE the Koigu KPPPM yarn. Such beautiful colors slid through my fingers with every skein. Who knew wool could feel so soft?
Once I got the hang of the patterns and the frogging was finally over with, I carried on and eventually finished what I consider to be my best effort yet. Sure, there are a few mistakes, but I'll bet no one sees them but me.
I am proud of this finished project, and will wear her proudly for years to come, and each time I do, I will be reminded of our wonderful 25th Anniversary Cruise where Charlotte first graced my shoulders, and the many hours we spent together while she was being formed by my own hands.
